Several products from Smart Balance, Paramus, NJ, including its enhanced fat-free milk varieties, now display the American Heart Association’s Heart-Check mark. The AHA Heart-Check mark is given to select food products that meet health standards for total fat, saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, sodium and beneficial nutrients. The three varieties carrying the Health-Check mark are: Smart Balance Fat Free Milk and Omega-3s, Smart Balance Fat Free Milk and Calcium and Smart Balance Lactose-Free Fat Free Milk and Omega-3s.
